Good news for people who like good news! If you’re in need of assistance, whether it be financial, personal or other, look no further: Trusted Helplines is a free new app that easily connects families to various assistance programs in their immediate area.
Trusted Helplines was created by CareConnect USA, an organization aimed at helping families in crisis. Since 2005, CareConnect USA has been creating free tools for counselors and families alike, all in effort to help connect people to the services they need.
CareConnect USA arose out of a critical need — a need to help families find the resources they’re looking for. In fact, the idea came about during a long flight, when David Moakler, CareConnect’s founder and National Director, was chitchatting with a social worker who said there were simply too few resources at a social worker’s disposal to help people in need, and the helplines they did have were either too limited or too hard to find.
From that conversation stemmed an idea, and within a few years Moakler was successfully able to see that idea through.
Now, CreditGUARD and CareConnect USA have teamed up to bring you the new Trusted Helplines app. The free app includes a variety of different helplines and is an easy and immediate way to help connect families to various hardship programs. Want to know the best part? The app automatically routes you to the nearest center in your state, making it even easier for you to find the help you need.
